[Item Description]
A work jacket made from cow leather.
Inspired by the practical leather jackets worn by European architects and engineers from the 1930s to the 1950s.
By changing some of the fabric classifications and adjusting the stitch work, we created a modern and minimalist impression.
By dropping the shoulder line from the traditional box shape and drawing a curve in the sleeves,
A soft silhouette with a lower center of gravity.
The pattern was adjusted to the shape of the collar to be worn as a stand-up collar, and the stitch work on the back of the collar gave it a different look.
[Material]
This leather is made from chrome-tanned cowhide leather and has the unique properties of vegetable tannins by adding vegetable tannin-based chemicals during the dyeing process.
It reproduces the leather manufacturing method used from the 1940s to the 1960s, and by purposely changing the dyed color of the base and the color of the pigment applied to the surface, it creates a deep color tone.
As it is used over time, the pigments on the surface blend in and the underlying dyed color gradually appears, giving it a vintage-like appearance over time.
This season's theme of layering and overlapping time is expressed.
