This jacket is based on a practical fishing jacket made from the 1970s to the 1990s and named after a specific person.
By changing some of the fabric classifications and adjusting the stitch work, we created a modern and minimalist impression.
The sleeve pattern shape has been optimized for fly fishing, and has been adjusted to a shape that is just right for everyday life.
Dropping the shoulder line and curving the sleeves creates a soft silhouette that lowers the center of gravity.
The short length is meaningful as a fishing jacket, but by adjusting the width and sleeve shape, we created a pattern that fits well as everyday wear.
[Material]
This material is made from densely woven Supima cotton, which has longer fibers than regular cotton, and is treated with a special resin to give it an outstanding firmness.
Cotton/nylon has a modest texture that blends in with the surrounding environment, without the rough texture of cotton or the luster of nylon.
The lightweight, yet moderately firm texture of the material also contributes to the formation of a silhouette when worn.
