“Sensu“ folding fan made of Dyneema composite fabric.
This product was inspired by the designer who always has a fan with him in the summer, but was dissatisfied with the strength of the paper construction.
While paper fans are thin and compact, they are susceptible to water damage and tearing.
Many fans made of fabrics such as nylon become thicker, and the folded pleats becomes less and less foldable after long use.
By using Dyneema composite fabric, we have eliminated both of these disadvantages and designed a fan that can be used for a long period of time in a variety of environments.
［Material］
Commonly known as Cuben Fiber, it is made of ultra-light yet extremely strong polyethylene fiber.
When comparing by weight, it is 15 times stronger than steel and 40% stronger than aramid fiber.
A special material is incorporated that has excellent resistance to water, ultraviolet rays, and chemicals, and is also used in bulletproof vests.
